“Mind the gap”, “Mind the gap”…
I’ve just read an interesting post from Paul at Rogue Amoeba.
My friend Silent knows that I’ve always wanted (and still want) to start or join a free-software oriented business company. There are plenty of examples out there. So I know it can be done.
My error in evaluating the whole story is that I’ve never thought about the full time gap.
It was really interesting to note that many programmers start with a business company while still working full time for another one. I think here in Italy this could be done only if you already are a professional man, that I’m not.
Uhmm, now I realize I know one of these double full time men…
Anyway that’s an inspiring article, but I’m still not sure about it. I have to find the right fellows.
