I want no monuments

You should have found yourself quite disappointed when you discovered Lenovo’s plans about supporting our free(dom) operating system. But Lenovo has quickly calmed down our flamed souls! They will support GNU/Linux, they promised.

Today I found on Slashdot that Lenovo has given proof of their intentions, by making a deal with Novell about preloading Suse on Thinkpad laptops.

I’m an happy customer of a Thinkpad R40 and I’m happy to know that I will have the chance to buy a new one.

In the meanwhile, I’ve even found a way to make my touchpad working better, enabling the scrolling feature (when sliding your finger from the upper to the lower right corner).

By the way, as I come back from holidays, I will tell you about my first experiences with Test Driven Development and my impressions on Echo2 (that maybe will allow me to avoid JSPs once for all).
